Students will love this Halloween writing craftivity! They'll create their own witches' brew and you can choose from several different prompts to fit whatever type of writing you are working on in October. This fun October writing activity includes printable and Google Slides versions.

Here are the prompts that are included:

•How-To: How to Make Witches Brew – students write step-by-step instructions on how to make witches’ brew.

•Narrative: The Day I Made Witches Brew – students step into the role of a witch making his/her brew, and tell a narrative story about the experience.

•Persuasive: You Won’t Want to Miss This! (My favorite!) -Students fill out an invitation to someone inviting them to come over for witches’ brew. On the inside of the invitation, they must write to persuade the person (or Halloween creature) to come over and try witches brew. To print – print pages 8-9 double sided, and fold in half.

•Blank Writing Paper: Create your own prompt!
